Fan hitting radiator and squeaky noise in reverse

    Hello r3v! For your consideration...

My cooling fan has started brushing up against my radiator when I downshift hard. No other issues, and only when my downshift takes the rpms above 3k or so. Water pump is brand new so, I'm guessing fanclutch?

Also, the car recently started making a squeaking noise when I back up. It's only in reverse, and only when I'm actually in gear (i.e. it stops when I push in the clutch). Any ideas what could cause this?

    Might also be motor mounts.

      Motor and transmission mounts.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Throw in some poly mounts for the engine and trans.

          Mounts all around.
The engine/trans assembly is obviously moving... Shifting won't cause the water pump shaft to move around or fan clutch to seperate.
          Unless it's REALLY fucked...
