    M42 radiator swap help

M42 radiator into car with late model M20B25 cooling system

Hose 13 on the original M20 cooling system connects to the bottom of the reservoir. What do I do about this hose if I run an M42 radiator?

Here is the M42 setup (comparable hose is #4 in this diagram):

I would guess that I would take the stock M20 hose, add an elbow or connecting piece, then add a length of generic cooling hose to reach the M42 reservoir.

Just wondering if an off-the-shelf part works for this.

Also the correct part number for the top radiator hose that works for this would be excellent if anyone knows it.

Did this on our touring. I forget which piece but one hose is cut and other hose is from euro engine set up.

    Frank did a write up.

Not very helpful I know. Not by computer or at shop or I could do better.

Bump. I am putting my engine back in this weekend and would like to get the right hose ordered rather than scrounging the parts store for something that only kinda-sorta fits.
