Can someone please explain the difference on a regular m20 block and one of an ix?

All that matters is that you need an IX block for an IX car.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I'm not sure exactly but I think the oil dipstick is located in a different spot, the oil pump is in a different spot (because the driveshaft goes through the oil pan on an iX), the transmission mounting holes are different... Need more?Comment
