    325e fuel rail on 325i

Hey, I swapped this over and realized the outlet for fuel is on the opposite end of the rail. Which fuel line goes here, supply or return? and what connects to the fuel pressure regulator, return or supply?

My engine just keeps cranking over and over, fuel is getting out of the injectors. There should be spark. And air I dont see why not.

It ran for a bit prior to this swap, then died and leaked fuel heavily. Now theres no leaks.

    Any ideas?

Fuel return line goes on the FPR.

Fuel feed line goes on the fuel rail.

Also check to make sure fuel isn't squirting out of the FPR vacuum hose. If it is, buy a new FPR.

The feed goes to the one nearest the firewall. It works the same just a different entry point. Reason for this was the etas had cold start injectors.

Did you swap anything other than the rail? Injectors? FPR?

The 87 i/is cars also had the feed on the opposite end.

Yeah I had it set up that way at first. Feed goes into the entry near the firewall, return hooked up to the fpr. No luck.

I did also swap injectors with the rail. And at first I left my 3.0 bar fpr on there, didnt start so I tried putting the 2.5bar from the 325e on, still no luck.

This could go both ways, you left the E injectors on, or swapped the I injectors on.

The E Injectors won't work on the I DME. They won't open fully, if at all. the E injectors are high impedence, and the I injectors are low impedence.

I swapped E injectors with the E rail on my I car.

I see, so that could be why its not starting? My injectors being wrong?

Ok. So if I swap my old injectors it should theoretically work? My old ones were junk.

What if I buy some m50 injectors, would it be plug and play into the E rail? Or should I obtain an I rail? (Anything else I need for the m50 injectors just to get it running?)

Update: I swapped the injectors back in and it still wont start :( at first it turned over once but didnt run, then it stopped and continued cranking..

I cannot seem to understand this. My fuel pump doesnt look like its pumping so I will check that when I get home.
