I have read numerous threads, and talked to a few people.
I have a 1986 325es, the idle sits around 900-1100. The car runs great though, idle is just high. I have unplugged my ICV and the idle does increase. And it has a rattle noise. Here is my concern. My ICV's adjustment screw is all the way in. When I start to unscrew it my idle raises higher and higher, then it starts to fluctuate. The idle screw also looks as if it was messed with by visual color differences on the screw, but I'm not 100% sure.
Does anyone have an suggestions?
