If you have a CEL that shows up when the car is idling and goes away once you start driving, the most likely causes are intake leaks and/or an aged O2 sensor. The O2 sensor is a scheduled maintenance item with a replacement interval of 100k. If at or past the service limit, replace the O2 sensor. Then have a shop run a smoke test on the intake and repair as indicated.
Along the same lines the ignition wires, distributor rotor, and cap should be replaced every other timing belt change (at 100-120k and 200-240k). While not a cause of the CEL, the entire cooling system should be replaced on the same interval.
