Basicly I would replace them if they are original and have over 150K miles. Easy to upgrade; and way better/ 4 pintle (way better spray pattern). You can pick them up on ebay for like $65 shipped. They will be rebuilt and test flowed. You can remove them and test on the bench but they will still be single spray and they will have 150K or more on them in most cases.

      Jlevie:
I made an adapter to plug the intake bellows and plates for the exhaust manifold out of an old plastic cutting board. Pulled the plugs and spun the engine until all the cylinders had smoke in them and then stuck the plugs back in and pressured it up to ~10 psi. Would that be sufficient?

        Ca tuned:
Whats the skinny on putitng in larger injectors? I plan to build another b25 or possibly a stroker for this car so if I'm gonna buy they may as well be something I can reuse later

I only waited long enuogh to have a good look around before I let the pressure off because the intake bellows looked like it was about to pop.

Maybe this is a good time to swap to the 173 DME? Any body have one for sale?

Any pointers on checking the injectors? I cant find my comp. tester yet.
The 173 is more relaible anyways. Its always a good upgrade. If you can get one, I would swap it anyways. If you have a buddy with an E30 you can swap DMEs with them to verify that is what it is

I believe they are 18pound injectors. I have swapped to them without doing a chip upgrade and it flows better idle is smoother too.

Was very happy with this company

Shipped out the injectors quick, no problems, even came with a flow sheet.

OOh shiny! Well I dropped the DME and there is a slight bit of corrosion on one corner of the PCB but otherwise it LOOKS ok. I'm waiting to hear back on a 173 and if the boat sells maybe a WAR chip setup :)

I pulled and cleaned the injectors the best I could, they were pretty cruddy but it made no difference so it looks like those will be on the upgrade list soon too. I also found a new head so one way or another this shit is gonna get fixed if I have to rebuild the whole damn car!!!

                    Note:
Would those injectors support a stroker (2.7/2.8l)

They will. They should work great. Those are better then what I quoted you on. But they are flow matched and rebuilt.
