    Intermittent No Start

    My car cranks several times before starting or doesn't start on the first try. I recently had a tune up:

    - Battery
    - Fuel Filter
    - Spark Plugs
    - Air Filter
    - Cap & Rotor
    - Spark Plug Wires
    - Valve adjustment
    - 02 Sensor

    I run shell 93 and run BG 44k injection cleaner every 8 months so I don't believe it is clogged injectors. I'm thinking it could be the fuel pump slowly dying out. Thoughts on what it could be?

    A failing fuel pump is a possibility, but starting problems ar more commonly the result of intake leaks. A smoke test is the only diagnostic that is certain to find any and all leaks.
    The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
