might buy fuel injectors, if so, what should I get?

I see some people running bigger injectors then OEM on their M20's that are pretty much stock.

Is there any reason for that, and would it benefit me to buy larger injectors? My M20 is stock other than the chip in the ecu, and headers / no cats.

My guess is it won't but i'de rather ask now than to find out later I could of bought larger and didn't.

And if so, what ones would work for fit / price ?

I'm having this problem this guy did, with misfire and its not my spark, so im guessing O2 / injector issues as I've replaced other stuff in my tune up a couple months ago.

    well nothing without a chip.

if you get m50 injectors they have 4 pintles instead of one and might get better mpg. I actually believe the 4 pintle design prevents drip better is all.

unless you have a chip for larger injectors it will make no difference.

ya im not sure if that chip is good for larger injectors or not. Ive mostly heard that chip is good though.
Its my belief that the version of that chip called stage 2 is for larger injectors and that chip is for stock injectors.

ya that sound is misfiring. You are asking what causes misfiring and you are confident in the ignition system

Ok well to diagnose the injectors, first find the cylinder that is misfiring. It sounds like one is on yours.

ok do it by pulling off the plug wires till you find one that doesnt change anytihng

next pull out the injectors and switch one with that one.

if youre buying new injectors you want 17 lb injectors, ones for a m50 either e34 or e36.

they will be more expensive on the market than the 19 lb ones shared with mustangs.

ok well every plug should be a change...
cause when you pull it out its misfiring on that cylinder....

but the one thats misfiring will misfire more.... so not much change.

ok especially the noise in the last second of your video....

click click click that is misfire the sparks hitting the post in the distributer and nothing blew up.

Pull a wire youll hear double misfire click click boom boom boom boom

Get it theres six pulses for every rotation.

boom boom boom boom boom click thats what your car does at idle.

                    which one is going click.

I didnt read your thread yet im sorry but i listened to your youtube and i know its misfiring. I can tell you what usually causes that but I bet someone else already did and you elminated it. This is usually the wires. cap distributer.

But, actually the head gasket could be it. or the injectors not spraying fuel or too much?

eventually pull out 6 plugs the one thats not firing will look different too.

k just went outside pulled each plug one by one, and its cylinder 2 that has the misfire, no fuel. I have spark at the wire but no fuel so im hoping I can clean it out enough for it start working again, if not then i'll have to buy new injectors might get the larger ones.

I just had to pay closer attention to the engine idle, before I didnt notice any difference but there is definitely is with every wire except the 2nd one

ya well #2 misffire, pull that rail out, switch #2 and #4.

ya just buy one injector on ebay for 10 15$. cheaper than techron.

                            could be a connection.

Problems with injectors are way easier to figure out on obd 2 cars.
