starter issues.. replaced still no crank..?

So my starter wouldn't crank at all out of no where.. got it to crank once after the next day.. bought a used starter of a r3v member(times are tough).. put it in and still no crank.. I'm sure everything is hooked up right..ps that top bolt sucked.. don't think its ever been taken off before.. gonna take my old starter to be tested.. maybe this new ones bad too? If starters good any other ideas? Bad ground? Wiring? Any relays or fuses I can check? Thinking if my old starter test good then its something else.. if its bad..then this used starter is bad too?

try to jump start the car, if it starts then in theory your starter is the problem.
