Car stuttering and spitting when up to temp. help!

    I have an 87 eta, 297k.
When the car warms up it spits and sputters to the point where it will hardly accelerate.
that being said, I have replaced the following:

    plugs
    plug wires
    coil
    Distributor cap
    rotor button
    rebuilt/cleaned injectors

I am at a complete loss of what else it may be. Need help guys, point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Replace the O2 sensor, then have a smoke test run to check for intake leaks.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

How is your fuel pressure? Make sure your regulator isn't bad.

Then check the resistance of all the temperature related sensors including,BNLT:
              -IAT sensor in the AFM
-ECT sensor in the thermostat housing
-Any other sensors relating to temp for the ETA

All this should be done after verifying that there are no intake leaks.

im sorta the same issue. Ive got a high idle ( 1000- 1500 at times ) having hick ups under 2500 rpms and picks up fine after 3k. Last few days it was driving like shit. idle stuck at 1500 then would drop to 600 then back up. No idea what it could be, just need the car to last 2 weeks till i do my I head swap.

Coolant temp sensor is what I would look at.

Diffrent afm's, I tried this for the lolz. Put on a adjusted afm from my vert. The eta would run but was retarded rich. You could see unburnt fuel out the muffler at idle but then reved it screamed great. Afm could be my issue. Ill have to test someones.

Gee folks, the most common cause of these sorts of problems is intake leaks. There are other possibilities, but until intake leaks are ruled out by a properly conducted smoke test and indicated repairs it makes no sense to consider other possible causes.
