Car runs nice on my M20, slightly smoother and throttle more lively, overall im very pleased.

The injectors were from a M50, bought the service kit and replace the
pintles, filters and O-rings.

Installation was pretty easy, hardest most frustrating part was trying to get
the clip off the harness where it plugs into the injector plug. Theres no room
to play with in there so i removed the valve cover for alil more room, used a thin 10mm socket to remove the 4 10mm bolts thats holding the rail to manifold.

I want to make a sticky of ebay chips reviews somewhere.

I can pass on that the rennsport technik chip, the most common ebay chip, for the m20 stage 1 and stage 2 are almost 100% good reviews.

I do not own a chip just shopping.

And not exactly remembering, the other one that goes for 30$ is crap. I dont think theres 3 in that range on ebay.

Completely agree. I also just put in M50 injectors this week. Engine definitely runs smoother. Some of that is also probably due to the fact the stock injectors were nasty when I pulled them LOL.

The chip came with the car when i bought it, i will check to see what it is when i have some free time. My car is an I.

yup....so smooth :D it might just be in my head but it feels faster too, glad i got around to doing it...next on my list is getting the A/C back in the car, summer is around the corner.

Im not sure I need injectors you see. I have that very common cold start hick up that could be a leaky injector, could be some invisible vacuum leak could be head gasket thing.


but the leather boot will look pimping...
