I do not have any review...
However my po had a gates belt installed. It has a gates sticker installed.
Gates is a name brand. If theres a brand of belt thats better than gates tell me
I have nothing but positive reviews of gates and amazon has them for cheap. I buy only gates hoses and belts because they are the best Ive ever seen and online prices are the same as crap brands to me. In store prices of gates is expensive in my area so that should tell you something.
So if someone has a better timing belt for any price speak up.
If I were to prefer a euro brand I would try this one
also having no idea about it but trusting continental brand, which i believe is oem if not febiLast edited by stamar; 03-08-2012, 02:19 AM.

timing belt is one thing where oem might be better than quality because the size is more important than the durability. It means theres been a million made exactly the same somewhere that are the same size and dont vary....
and you dont want to see how long it can last.
Gates is oem of several bmw models too, porsches and hyundais also though. They make like carbon belts for buggattis etc and sport bikes...
continental too those are both name brands
