    Buckin' and blowin' the blues

So I've been searching and reading for a couple of hours on here now, and would like to see if some of you could chime in and help me out.

I have a '90 325is. When it's cold from sitting overnight it will start up, run like crap, and sometimes stall unless you give it gas. However, when you give it gas then sputters, runs like shit, and blows a bunch of blue smoke (fuel?) and will eventually stall. Once it's warmed up it runs and idles slightly better, but it will studder and stall every 20 seconds or so. The econometer goes nuts when it's about to stall the CEL will flicker, and I can hear relay type clicking while I try to drive as it starts to buck. No stored codes though. Any ideas? I am pulling my f*cking hair out !!

I replaced the AFM, DME, and coolant temp sensor to no avail. I am running out of patience and it's starting to cost me a ton of $$!

    Blue smoke is oil
Black smoke is WAY too much fuel.

Did you check your intake elbow/under the manifold to valve cover pipe for rips or leaks?

stop buying parts.....and start diagnosing the ones you have......the blue smoke is from oil.....your burning oil.

White smoke can be way too much fuel too... my car did that when I blew my FPR

I'll have to look under the intake. I'm starting to lean toward a bad cps or fuel pump relay, based on my symptoms and what I've read. And the smoke is more of a white, and not blue now that I've gone back and looked.
