If building a stroker your using the factory EFI would it be better to use a different throttle body and MAF? I'm also wondering if using an intake manifold from a 2.7 would be any better than the 2.5's manifold? I'm also wondering about what injectors to use and if I should pick up a management system like megasquirt etc.. can anyone help answer these questions?

A budget stroker will use an M20B27 bottom end coupled with the head, intake, injectors, throttle body, CPS, AFM, engine harness, and DME from an M20B25. The best ETA bottom end is one from SuperETA as it will result in a better compression ratio. While not optimal, the M20B25 DME will work okay. You can add a WAR chip, spend some time on a dyno, and get a pretty darn good tune.
A full stoker would use a diesel crank, different rods, different pistons in the bottom end and possibly a different cam. Larger injectors, an MAF and/or MAP sensor, and MegaSquirt or similar is appropriate for that combination. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Ok first off the 2.7 topend is crap... sorry.
Every build starts with a buget start with a set amount then expect to add another 25 - 35% more later (cause this is your first build)
Now read, read, read, and read. search both r3v and e30tech then read some more.
Set a plan. make a list, then find the old guys who have done what you want to do.
Ask question.
Most of all have fun and expect delays, set backs and problems. And getting shit from people on line....!
