    325e won't accelerate

I have an '88 325e. The temps here in SC got up into the 80s today. My car seems to hate heat. When I was on the interstate coming home from school, my car would not accelerate. I pulled off to the side, turned it off and back on, and she drove away fine for a little bit then started acting up again. I pulled off in the Bloom parking lot, let her sit for a few minutes, then limped her home. Can anyone help diagnose what this could be? TIA

I've totally forgotten to re-plug in my AFM and that caused all kinds of power issues for the few miles I was driving before checking it out. There's a pretty easy test if you have a multimeter (if you don't harbor freight had a coupon for a free one). check this link out for some handy info < http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=90205 >

Manual. It's actually my girlfriends car. I'm going to try to drive it this weekend so I can get a better idea of exactly what is going on.
