Oil Pan Gasket: Sealant(which) or Not

Use Toyota fipg its the black stuff we use it at Toyota on oil pans and they last 100k+ miles easy sometimes it lasts longer than the car lol but its like 18bucks a tube ive been stocking up on it cuz u use only like 1/3rd a tube per oil pan

I am going to use threebond, though my neighbor used to be a tech at toyota, he said he can get that stuff for free
