I pulled a hood liner out of a car at the junkyard, I think it was a 318 but it was so long ago I can't remember. Purpose was to deaden sound a bit.
I'm not sure if there were any variations of the liner depending on engines, but this one seems to make a little contact with the top of the motor. I suppose it should be ok as there are no extremely hot bits up there, but curious what the deal is with liners none the less.
