Inertial effects of AFM flap vs. engine performance

somewhat on topic, what would you guys suggest to use to clean a dirty afm?

Which part? The resistor strip/inside bits, or a dirty flap and flow chamber?

Electrical and electronics cleaner for inside
Regular old carb cleaner for the flow path.

^ Just use rubbing alcohol and a q-tip on the resistor track.

If you're OCD kicks in, remove the arm and sand the metal balls on the end of the arm with a dollar bill.
