    E34 m20 oil pan E30 m20 oil pan

So I recently bought an e34 oil pan cause I was told it would work on my e30 but when I got it I noticed there was another dime size hole by the oil level sensor hole and my e30 pan does not have this if anyone could tell me if they are the same or not or if it will fit i can weld that hole up that would be great I don't want to take mine off and attempt to swap it to find out otherwise and please no guessing games only post if you have had experience with it or know for a fact it will work thanks!

For some reason the E34 had the dipstick in the oil pan. If you plug the hole the pan will work just fine.

Tap the hole and use a short bolt as a plug A smear of JBweld will ensure that it won't leak or loosen.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
