    bad idle jumping problem

I Have an 88 325is and the idle jumps from 1 to 2k constantly, I Have checked for vacuum leaks everywhere, even sprayed carb cleaner everywhere and no luck. Replaced afm, tps, and icv and still nothing. Also sometimes when it not jumping it will idle at 3.2 k, if anyone has any insight as to what this could be it would be greatly appreciated.

Did you replace with good known working items or other used?
        Injectors original?

Replaced with working parts from turner motorsports. Haven't changed the injectors, probably have never been changed out, could one being stopped up not pushing a constant flow of fuel cause such a bad idle?

Is there a way to check the fpr before I get another? I've heard that from a few others as well but I would like not to spend on something that is still in good working order.

I'm having the same problem with mine, check my thread here:

                Might give you some ideas

I just cleaned the cap and rotor and it helped but they were both pretty bad so I'm waiting on new ones. So far this is the only thing that has helped at all.

Also summit sells an affordable fuel pressure gauge thats pretty durable.

just put that in the search box at summit's site
