5w30 synthetic in the m20?

I run Rotella 15-40 for winter oil as that's the recommended viscosity down to 20 below. VR1 20-50 for summer. Never once had an issue starting or turning over.

What do you guys up in Canada use? I have read quite a few complaints about 15-40 being too viscous and difficulty in turning the engine over. I have always used 5-30 in the winter, but then again with this car you can't go anywhere fast in the winter...pretty gentle driving.
