Sputtering at high rpm and it dies? A possibility would be a clogged exhaust. Remove the o2 sensor and take it for a spin. Let me know...Comment

The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

What you need to do is to see what the rail pressure is when the engine is misbehaving. Tee a pressure gauge into the rail feed line and zip tie the gauge to the driver's windshield wiper. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Thanks to all..
So far, after the new single stem plugs, the car is running better. I ordered a new FPR and put that in this AM and went for a long drive. A few WOT pulls, and etc..
The car is running good. No hesitation, and no sputtering. I think I'm good..
More updates as needed.. Thanks again!- Y2K M Coupe (DD, Track Rat)

After reading the thread I was going to ask which plugs you used but then you answered the question.
Those two, three and four prong plugs are a joke. No good for any car. Just a marketing scam. People automatically think,"more prongs equals more spark which equals MOAR POWA!" But in reality, electricity finds the closest route to ground. It will choose its path down one prong and keep using it. Rendering the other prongs useless.
Glad you figured it out though.
