OK so last night as i was driving to my girls house in my 84 eta, whenever i shifted into a higher gear it felt as though it was bogged down sorta. Right before this though my low beam light went on, saw that my right light went out. When i got to her house i was going over a bump in 2nd and i got some pretty weird throttle response when i hit the gas. The battery light started flashing, my brake light went on and it wanted to stall. Downshifted to 1st same thing happened then stalled. This morning i turned it on and got a pretty crazy hard idle until the engine warmed up. Then ran fine under normal conditions. Never really seen anything like this, is there a chance my headlight is shorting or something? taking too much power from the alternator to keep the crank turning? Im checking it out in a few hours when i get out of class. Just not to sure what to start checking.
