If I remember correctly the stroker with just the head swap lowers the compression ratio down which is perfect for a turbo.

i motors already 8.8:1, which should be perfect.....my turboed eclipse is 9.5:1 @ 15psi, and Evo IX is actually 8.8:1...though id love to make my old eta block a 2.9 with a cammed i head
may you rest in peace, or pieces, whichever comes first

The stock ETA bottom end with the I top end stuff puts you at 8.5:1 or so.

And it does pull nicely, even with a 2.93 rear end. I feel it's just a nice way to let that fat lady sing a little bit longer. Though the highway MPG is nice too.

dont even bother changing any of the coolant stuff or the wires, just throw a dual port water pump on your new "I" motor and run all the old shit, done, simple.
