    Help

This may not be in the right forum section but I'm frantic ATM.

BMW 325is M20, after market ecu and air intake.

The problem is in the revs..It has started idling at around 600..this morning it was fine. Give it some gas and now basically nothing happens until the 3k mark. To drive around corners, go down a gear and reverse is horrible, no guts. The throttle response is pretty much dead, I can't even go up a small hill in 2nd gear.

My mate said to flush out the sensor in my air intake tube, which i have done. The weird thing is, the car runs fine when idling when the sensor plug is out, but when I plug it back in it starts going all lumpy at 600 again.

    someone one help me! :curse:

That sensor is the AFM, correct?

If that's the case, it may very well be a bad AFM.
I believe that when the ecu senses an important sensor unplugged, it substitutes a preset value for that sensor instead.

    ALSO:
Try the test on this site:
