    Funky idle after acceleration...

    Hello guys,

Whenever I step on the gas and go back to idle the rpms bounces for an instant. is this normal?
Also, the mpg needle is a little slow or is just like that?

    Any tip is welcomed.

    That is normal
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I also have a strange problem with the idle speed.

Rolling in 2nd gear - 2.000 rpm: If I let go the gas the rpms go down as usual until the idle speed of 700-800rpm, the MPG needle go back to 40 as soon I let go the pedal.

Rolling in 2nd gear - 900~1200rpm: If i let go the gas the rpms never go down and stay there, accelerating the car as if I was pressing a little the gas, MPG needle stays at 15~10mpg. I can roll like this for few blocks, if I blip the throttle.. the car kicks a little and then the mpg go to 40 and the car desaccelerates.

I will record a video of this... what could be?

Sticking throttle cable is my guess.

Sticking throttle cable/body or flaky TPS

good calls, but if it is the cable... the problem must be present when accelerating on neutral.. but the rpms go down as in the video.

So its only happening while driving, no matter what gear I am on.
