That drainage pipe is spring-loaded from the bottom. Put a couple of zip-ties or safety wire around the spring, push the pipe down as far as it goes to compress the spring, and tighten the zip-ties to hold the spring compressed.
The spring is #12 in this image: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...19&hg=11&fg=10
Now install the intake manifold.
Then align the top end of the drainage pipe with the hole in the bottom of the intake, and cut the zip-ties holding the spring. The spring expands to hold the tube up into the intake.
Make sure the o-rings on the pipe are good, otherwise you'll have a vacuum leak.

You can use any of the online stores or go to the dealership to get it, the dealership usually can get it to you by next day if they don't have it already. Since it's a small thing it'll be cheap at the dealer and a guarantee that they'll have it.
If you go to autozone give them the model of the car and just ask for an oil return tube or pipe o-ring and they might have it.
EDIT: Regarding the oil dipstick tubing, I bent mine very slowly out of the way and had no problems. I might have been lucky but it worked fine for me.Thanks,
Matt
