CEL but won't give me any codes

So two weekends ago, I went for a cruise with some friends and ran into some problems on the way home. In medium flow traffic at a decent speed (50ish) the car started to miss sporadically. As soon as it happened I knew I had a problem but I was hoping that I could limp the car home. Well, that didn't happen. As soon as I hopped on the highway, the missing became worse to the point I was having trouble cruising at 70 (speed limit).

I pulled over at the next convenient exit. Went straight to the ignition to find that two spark plug wires broke inside the distributor cap, awesome. Had a friend go pull some used plugs and cap off a car he's tearing down and the car drove fine for about a mile and then continued to miss the same way all the way home. So after buying new cap, rotor, coil, and spark plug wires (plugs are newish and look ok) took it for a spin and everything seemed to back to normal. Stopped at a store for a minute, when I left, the car started to miss the same way it was before(SOAFB)

I got the car home and started to poke around under the TB because I read that the TB heater when leaking, can leak into the C191(?) plug and cause similar issues. Well, mine had been leaking and I recently omitted mine. I undid the plug and now notice a tiny puddle of coolant, wtf. Check all hoses in that area for leaks and found nothing and hasn't had a puddle since.

Now the car has a hard time starting on cold starts and stumbles a bit until warm, and once its warm, it idles fine and drives fine. I also now have a full time CEL that I can't get to give me any codes. I am not sure what it is. I have tried testing the TPS but I cant seem to get the Bentley tests to work with my multimeter. I have not tried another one yet.

Any thoughts before I start to throw more money at it?

Disconnect the negative cable from the battery for 10 min. Reconnect to see if the CEL comes back. If it does then you can do a stomp test to get the code.

Ok, letting the car sit unplugged for a long period and then plugging it in allowed for me to pull the CEL (Thank you dnguyen1963!). It's giving me 1223 (Coolant Temp Sensor) and I have a feeling I know why. One of the PO's decided it was a a great idea to cut one of the CTS wires and solder a dingleberry of a ground to it and ground it to the valve cover (GENIUS I SAY!)

I tried fixing it a while back and it must have resurfaced with this whole coolant in the c191(?) plug deal happened. I know it's not the CTS because i went through 3 before realizing it was't the problem a few months ago, so that's newish.

Fortunately there are 2 late models in the yard right now so I'll go grab one of the injector harness' there.

        I'll keep everyone posted :)

As much as I would like to do that, I do unfortunately like to know whats wrong with my car when shit hits the fan.

Anywho, problems solved. It ended up being my injector harness :) As soon as I plugged in the new one, CEL went away. Oh Happy Day!
