    M20B27 tensioning

Hi, I have a question about the timing belt tensioner. Does it absolutely HAVE to be tensioned all the way? what if it was left half way? is it still safe to drive? Thanks.

Huh? What?? Im comfused what you're asking exactly. It needs to be set via the spring pin and locked in that position, not all the way, or half way. Do not risk your motor if you've forgotten to tension correctly when doing the timing belt. Go back and adjust it with the spring, then set and forget.
