    Found this hanging in the engine bay, coming off from the diagnostic plug. Can't find anywhere it would go for the life of me. Any Ideas? 12/86 325e.

      It should be mounted next to the harmonic balance, on the left of an M20B27 and on the right side of an M20B25. Other than for diagnostic information that sensor serves no purpose on an M20B27 (ETA).
      The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

              Thanks, at least it's mounted now, not zip tied to a harness.
