    Intermittent squeal upon startup

    Stock M20, 205k miles.

Occasionally, it's been making a high pitched squeal when I start the engine. Doesn't happen all the time, but has been happening more frequently.

I try to get a video of the sound for y'all, but of course everytime I have my phone at the ready, it doesn't happen.

But it sounds something like this:

Then it goes away and the car runs fine.

    Anybody?

That could be a slipping v-belt, bad bearing on one of the belt driven accessories, or an intake leak. Remove the belts and spin each part to check the bearings. Then install new belts and properly tension them. If problem persists, have a smoke test run to check for intake leaks.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Thanks Jim. Problem doesnt seem to be an immediate concern, which is could cause I can't afford nor do I have the time to fix it at this current juncture. But at least I can pinpoint where it might be coming from.
