Early Eta's up until Sept.1985 had a compression ratio of 11:1. The blocks of these engines is stamped 27 6KA. From 9/86 the compression ratio was dropped to 10.2:1 and these engines are stamped 27 6EB.
If you mean other specs no idea lol. Im in the middle of doing a Euro piston build.Last edited by Eurotrash727; 07-31-2012, 10:55 PM.Comment

im confused so if they stopped making the 11:1ratio around 9/85 and they went to the 10.2:1 ratio on 9/86 where does that leave my euro sitting at?
I just went to one of those VIN decode sites for BMW and i found this
Production date 1985-09-02
but on my door it said Manufacture date 5/86
does this mean i barely got the compression ratio 11:1?1986 325e (EUR)
