So I recently changed my oil pan gasket because it was leaking about half a quart every two weeks. After that I tested the car and it ran great with no more leaks so I got out the pressure washer to clean the bottom of the car and the engine as well. After the pressure wash I got a funny noise. When the car is cold (first3-5 min) every time you rev the engine, as the rpms fall from about 2k down to idle the engine gets a wuring(wuuurrrrr) sound. What could it be?
Help!!! Pressure washing fail?

yea, I wasn't really thinking. Obviously something rpm related. Some sort of belt/pulley/bearing. Or maybe transmission.2014 Alpine White 335i MSport

If its the same sound with A/C on or off, then I'd go for the alternator bearings, or even the power steering pump. Check the P/S pump sound if you turn the wheel all the way to the left or right while at idle and listen if the sound changes.Comment
