My car won't start in cold weather. It's not the battery, and it takes me a few times before it actually starts. Anyone know why?

Once should always state what car they have when posting a question. Different E30 modes have different problems. All I can say without knowing what car it is is that intake leaks are the most common cause of hard starting, and that will be worse in cooler temperatures. A smoke test will tell if there are intake leaks. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
