    Ran with no spark impulse sensor for months.... Its not your problem. Judging by the tach cutout its probably cps sensor or wiring/ecu related.

      I wouldn't it was the problem either, except for the fact that when I cleaned the contacts on the impulse sensor is cleaned up the problem dramatically.

      Either way, it needs new wires and I get peace of mind.



      I didn't get the new parts today because when I got off work the UPS truck hadn't gotten to the store yet. Maybe tomorrow.

          Am I not helping your case? I figure we have similar issues and maybe my solution is your solution. If this isn't your thing then I'll make my own thread and you can figure your car out by yourself.

            Hey man don't get your painties in a wad. Pull your valve cover and check your rocker arms if you haven't already. And check your timing. my bad if I didn't clear that up a while ago. I had 2 broken rocker arms and a fucked up valve cover.

              No wadding, I just have a helpful nature that sometimes isn't appreciated.

              No broken rockers, I did a valve adjustment with the last oil change.

              Still have brand new parts laying around not being installed, work has been a bit of a bitch lately.
