    not start

So I just did a gasket refresh on my 91ix and I go to crank it over and nothing. The first time I tried it, it gave a little crank and then clicked. So I charged the battery overnight thinking it was a dead battery. Still wont go and I even tried jumping it. I just go to turn the key and it does nothing now, The battery light looks dim in the cluster after you turn the key and let it out and now my check engine light is on unless that will go out. Im kinda stumped on this one. Is my battery that dead? All the interior and the headlights and everything else work just fine. Maybe a bad ground somewhere? Some assistance on this is def needed.

And sorry for the typo on the title. Its way to early.

No crank at all? Probably the starter. Also check the engine-to-chassis ground on the driver side coming from the oil pan.
