going to check out an m20

A guy offered to sell me his m20 and lives pretty far away and i think we are going to meet up half way. so i was wondering what are somethings to look for when buying an m20?

he said its from a 90 and was swapped into a eta and finally pulled and has been in his garage for a week. btw there is no intake manifold included and no spark plug wires. he sent me a vid of it running but im just wondering any other things i could check before buying it.

    thanks in advance

see if it turns over by hand
    check block for b25 stamped.
    check head for 885
if you can compression test it do so.
pull valve cover and see how it looks..

    dont spend more than 200

$500 if it includes the tranny...if not, I wouldn't spend over $300 on it. These engines are pretty cheap these days.
