    high idle issue

    i have a 255 tre fuel pump with the secondary pump deleted. 19lb injectors and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. and a stock maf.. soo i was wondering if this could jus be the idle control valve..

    Listen for a buzz when the key turned on not the car running. Then turn it on.and unplug the icv and see if the idle jumps super high idr what to exactly. You'll know its way to high.

      get rid of the injectors go back to stock

      test your tps with a multimeter, if it checks good then check clean your icv with brake cleaner.

        just figured it out i went to the junkyard the other day and got the cable sensor that plugs in next to the dlc not the crank sensor one but the one that goes to the spark plug cable. turns out my friend had put it on cyl 6 and it was backwards lol i put it the right way and on cyl 1 and now it idles fine =] thank you guys tho

          Spark sensor cable is supposed to be on cylinder 6, the one closest to the fire wall, farthest from the radiator.

            where is the idle at?
            m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.
