Tee a pressure gauge into the rail supply line, zip tie the gauge to a windshield wiper, and see what the rail pressure is when an event occurs.

Backfire happens when you have too much unburnt gas in your exhaust...I'll say your injectors are dumping way too much fuel into the cylinders.

alright i have 19# injectors and this all started happening after my stock fuel pump took a dump on me. i decided to put a highflow onein and since it was a lt cheaper than the stock one i got a 255tre the engine is chipped for the injectors does it need to be re tuned for the fuel pump as well?

The FPR is still controlling the fuel pressure. I personally would have put a stock pump in there but the 255 is fine. I also am not a fan of 19lb injectors in a stock 2.5L M20 engine. It sounds like you have some other issue going on though.

thats were im having trouble but the stock fuel pump didnt make my engine sputter at higher rpms with wot soo i figured i saw that 255and it was cheaper soo i saved some money. butas of now i have no idea were to even start cause ive checked spark and fuel and im getting both and im wondering if at higher rpms im starving it for air soo maybe my tps sensor could be bad?

You need to track the fuel pressure to know what might be going on...tee in a pressure gauge!

Either get one, or have a shop run the test.
