    help!!

    K so i just bought a m20b27 from a junk yard and,well,.......they sold me junk... .go figure any way i put the motor in started it and it went......tic tic tic then just stopped trying to turn over i put a breaker bar on the crank pulley and i can turn it by hand 3.1/4 in either direction but it sounds like its smacking something in the top end........did i suck a valve through? Or can any one think of any thing else it could be any thing will help thanx*

    Is the timing belt good? There is probably a broken valve shoved into the bottom of the head!
    The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!

      I am guessing it ended up in the junk yard in the first place because of a broken timing belt. This would have FUBAR'ed the top end of the engine. I am guessing you need a rebuild on that engine.

        Ya timing belt is fine i bought a new any way luckely enough i have a nother head so i guess its rebuild time but the junk yard is giving me an i head and a bunch of yard credit so i guess its time to turn my other eta block turbo but ya i was thinking the head was screwed just hoping for any other suggestions....... thanx guys
