    M20 MAF Conversion?

Hey Guys I was just wondering if there was a way to put an MAF in besides the miller MAF that would work? I have miller in right now with the m30 AFM and I have heard that the e36 MAF works with the right wiring and installing the ambient temp sensor and giving it a high enough power supply.

What would you hope to gain from this? The choke point is the head, not the intake or what measures airflow into the engine.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

theres a million things you can do really.

it just takes know how and some money.

intermediate chips can be programmed to intercept signals from a map sensor say. and convert that signal from what the map is saying to a signal that the dme would recognise and except in place of what it would receive from a afm. - as an example.

it depends on how far you want to go. and what you want to do and what you want to spend. i think bang for buck either miller maf or m30 afm conversion is the best options. after that for more "flow" in the intake tract. you will need to go stand alone ecu really.

You say you have the Miller MAF installed with a M30 AFM.... Interesting!

then just finish off with the miller maf unit inplace of the m30 unit.
