    im not sure... i think it depends on the tank. the smaller tanks seem to have twin pumps and the larger are single pumps. from what ive seen. i think early and late models also differ. im not 100% on the stats or info.

      I think this is dependent on the market the cars were built for. For the US market early 318 and 325 cars up through 8/87 have a 55L tank with two pumps. From 9/87 on the 325's have a 63L tank with a single in-tank high pressure pump. Late production 318is cars (11/89 and later) have the 55L tank and the in-tank high pressure pump.
      The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

        Thanks for all of the suggestions!

        I had left the garage this weekend so it wouldn't drive me up a wall and I'm at work now. I'll go through the responses when I have time at home and respond.
