anyone know anything about these? scam or real deal? wasn't sure if chipping a car that old was even possible, even though I do know the computers in these cars were pretty advanced for the year. thanks.

Scam
Its just a varible resistor inside a box. It doesnt work. It is suppose to trick the ecu into thinking the air is colder by varying the resistance through the intake air temp sensor. But e30s do have a true 2 wire iat sensor like say a 5.0 mustang. On our cars its in the afm. I tried this when I was like 15 too lol trust me it doesnt work -
