    wiring harness identification help

Ok so i picked up a I motor yesterday (finally) thanks to FLG, and i am getting ready to put it in my car but i am not sure what these 8 wires go to.

If you guys could identify them for me i would really appreciate it. I numbered the pics so i know what ones you guys are talking about when you reply. I looked in my bently and tried to source where they go but im just not sure.

Pic 3 looks like some sort of valve that manages where my coolant goes (it says water on it), and pic 4 didnt have a plug but it is a blue wire with a white stripe that comes down to the bottom of my block.

    thanks in advance!

By their location the connectors in #1 are probably the CPS & Cyl ID connectors.
#2 could be ICV & TPS connectors.
#3 is a temperature and pressure relief valve for the heater.
#4 is the oil pressure switch wire or an unused that that is found on some harnesses.
      #5 are for the starter.
#6 is for the O2 sensor
#7 is the engine harness and DME grounds
      #8 is DME power
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Thanks jlevie, yea all of these connectors are near the c101 connector side of the harness. Also if I am not going to run heat do I need the temp and pressure relief valve? If not what should I do with the hoses that connect to it?

If you aren't going to have heat in the car, you can delete the valve. The heater hoses to the thermostat housing and rear of the head must be plugged. Do not loop those hoses.
