Engine Mount - Non BMW application to fit M20

For some reason I have it in my head that you can use Rover V8 engine mounts in place of the M20 mounts with only a little bitty modification. The benefit being cheap, and higher durometer rubber.
Searched google, boards, bookmarks and subscriptions though and can't find where I saw that.

Am I crazy, or can anyone back me on this?

Well that's interesting. Not as available here as the Rover stuff. But good to know.
That's BECK ARNLEY PN 104-1017 for the Fiat 132 Mounts. About 20 bucks ea.

Several years back, Josh needed a motor mount so we went to NAPA and found a generic motor mount in one of their books that was identical. It's a fairly simple/common shape.

So the stock ones for the chinese shit are $8 each??? that is cheaper than these other ones
