    Oil leak from sensor?

I am getting an oil leak from a sensor on the passenger side of the engine. Its coming from the wire connector on the wire side so it seems weird (i.e. Not the engine or the connection between but the back of the connector) . What is this and how do I fix it? Is it the sensor itself our the plug? Click image for larger version

Its the oil pressure sensor. So youre saying the oil is coming through the sensor and not past the threads and gasket?

common failure, used to pump it over to the driver side when the wiring covering was newer.

Ya basically the oil is coming from the end on the rubber boot. You can see where i put RTV in the end. I am just curious if the connector is bad and i need a new wire lead or just the sensor. Haven't had a chance to take it apart yet

Replace the sensor, it is pushing oil past the terminals in the connector

The thing is this wouldn't have worked either. The spot is recessed against the block so side access wasn't an option. However, good news. A 15\16 socket fits there and had been replaced. Hacks everyone for their help
