Watch your little plastic caps are all there when you pull the injectors. A guy bent a valve not too long ago on here because one fell in.
I was missing one when I swapped out for the 19lb injectors. But... I didn't feel like taking it apart to see if it had fallen in or was already missing, so I started it up and hoped for the best. No problems yet. No need to take off the valve cover although it does make it easier.
Lift the fuel rail off with all the injectors attached still. If necessary, unclip the injector closest to the firewall and pull that injector out of the fuel rail. You might need to do the same with the next injector closest to the firewall. Set those 2 injectors aside. The whole fuel rail (with 4-5 injectors still attached) should be able to slide out towards the hood.
