Yes it can, removing the valve cover will give you some room to work with.

Yes. Its a pain in the ass though, but definitely worth not taking the intake off if you're just doing injectors.

If your injector wires are bare its easy! If they all live in the plastic house its a pain. I use a hooky picky set to get the square retaining clips off and pull the wiring harness. After that its easy. Remove the valve cover as Whodwho said.

Watch your little plastic caps are all there when you pull the injectors. A guy bent a valve not too long ago on here because one fell in.

I was missing one when I swapped out for the 19lb injectors. But... I didn't feel like taking it apart to see if it had fallen in or was already missing, so I started it up and hoped for the best. No problems yet. (I have my own shop though, so if I broke it I could fix it without much effort.)

No need to take off the valve cover although it does make it easier.

Lift the fuel rail off with all the injectors attached still. If necessary, unclip the injector closest to the firewall and pull that injector out of the fuel rail. You might need to do the same with the next injector closest to the firewall. Set those 2 injectors aside. The whole fuel rail (with 4-5 injectors still attached) should be able to slide out towards the hood.
