    motor mounts.

Hi guys I was looking at new motor mounts and Trans mounts for my 90 325I. It has I think 206k on the original mounts. They do not look broke but are very soft. What mounts should I go with. stock or the ones from Condor Speed shop. I would be replacing trans mounts also. What is difference from stock and is it worth it??

Our M20 Engine Mount Set was designed for the BMW E30 325 and is made of UHMW material. This set can be purchased as different mount styles for street or track!

Stop unwanted transmission movement in your BMW E30 with Condor Speed Shop's Solid Transmission Mount. This BMW racing part is made with UHMW material.

I do not know if it is related but when I am going hard into a long corner and try to shift up near the end of the turn the car will not get into second or forth. It only does that in a corner. I am guessing the load in the turn is making the motor and trans rotate.

I've been experiencing the same issues with shifting under load. Under hard braking, it feels as if the shifter is jammed in place and will not change gears. My initial thought was that the gearbox and possibly engine mounts were degraded to the point where there is significant movement in the drivetrain. This was confirmed after I noticed half of my fan blades were missing from hitting the radiator.

I have a set of Condor Speed Shop Engine/Transmission mounts on their way now. I'm hoping they arrive soon, so I can start driving my car again.

For a daily driver, fresh OE mounts are all that is needed. Poly mounts are available , but there will be more NVH.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
