what and where is this coolant hose?

What is this hose? and where does it go? im currently replacing all the coolant hoses, but cant seem to see this one on my car. I have a 1985 325e 5spd.

That could be the other heater hose, perhaps?

The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
